New wood block sculpture
I just completed a new wood block sculpture last week. They are made all from scraps and cut-offs from our furniture projects. These sculptures are a long time in coming so it is nice to finally see it complete. This one is 5′ x 5′ square and about 3″ deep. I haven’t counted but there somewhere in the neighborhood of 1500 pieces. The next one will be 5′ x 20′.
Love the 5′x 5′ piece. I am working on my own with a slightly different approach. My sample piece is just finished and I plan on a 4′ x 8′ next.
